Steven Wong Jr. is a Video Producer and Editor with a career that spans across Film, Television, Creative Marketing and Animation.  

 

Steven is currently the Lead Editor and Video/Photo Creative for LAIKA Studios' Social Media and Marketing Team. His work covers a wide range of creative including featurettes, trailers, sizzle reels, social media content and behind-the-scenes photography/videos for a Golden Globe & BAFTA-Winning, Academy Award-nominated film studio as well as their partners Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Annapurna Pictures and United Artists.

With years of experience in Feature Film Marketing, much of Steven's video work can be seen throughout @LAIKAstudios Social Media Platforms:  Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin, assisting in the growth of the channels by over 4 million Followers while achieving 200 Million Views in total over all platforms.  In addition, he has edited over 50+ featurettes for worldwide distribution across DVD/Blu-ray Special Features and/or Theatrical Special Releases for LAIKA's 5 films.

Steven was the Unit Photographer for the Award-Winning animated films 'Kubo and the Two Strings' and 'Missing Link', as well as the upcoming film 'Wildwood'.  His photography work has been featured in various publications such as Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles Times, American Cinematographer, Entertainment Weekly, Portland Monthly, amongst other publications.

He also produces his own behind-the-scenes series, 'MakersMinute', that is part-education and part-entertainment, documenting talented artists from around the globe. Since its initial launch a year and a half ago on Instagram and TikTok, the series has garnered over 3 Million Likes and 20+ Million Views, with a total of over 150,000 followers on all platforms.
