Steven Wong Jr. is an Award-winning Producer & Editor with a 20-year career that spans across Film, Television, Animation and the Video Games industry.


Steven is known for his work on the feature films: BAFTA-winning, 2-time Academy Award-nominated 'Kubo and the Two Strings' (2016), Golden Globe-winning, Academy Award-nominated, 'Missing Link' (2019) and the upcoming film 'Wildwood' (TBD), as well as evergreen marketing for Academy Award-nominated films: 'Coraline' (2009), 'Paranorman' (2012) 'The Boxtrolls' (2014), and work on numerous animated short films throughout his career. 


Steven’s photography has been published in Variety, Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly, American Cinematographer, Animation Magazine, Selvedge Magazine, Portland Monthly, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times and The Oregonian; websites such as Collider, IndieWire, Deadline, as well as various exhibits at Universal Studios Hollywood, the Portland Art Museum, Museum of Pop Culture, Museum of the Moving Image and the Japanese American National Museum.

His film portfolio covers a wide range of creative including featurettes, trailers, commercials, and sizzles, many distributed by Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Annapurna Pictures and United Artists, nationally and internationally.   

Currently, Steven is an Audio Visual Producer for Nintendo of America, producing and editing trailers, commercials and sizzles for their various video game IPs, as well as leading creative direction and project management for content marketing campaigns. Steven has worked as a producer on: ‘Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Booster Course Pass’ (2022) and ‘Metroid Prime Remastered’ (2023). 

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Steven grew up with a diverse background of Chinese, Native Hawaiian, Portuguese, Irish, English and German ancestry. He moved to the Pacific Northwest for college, earning Bachelor degrees in both Film Production and Business Marketing.  During his free time, Steven produces a behind-the-scenes series on both social media platforms, Instagram and TikTok. The series has garnered over 25 Million Views and 3+ Million Likes.
